Bouncy Feller

As most of you know I have diverse interests and they get into my blogs one way or the other. In this case, I am blogging again because of all the harasssment, especially from Shuana and Veronique. Such sweet pestering they deliver!

My subject is once again my dog--mainly because we are about to change his name--not really, but almost, since he has become a total bounce. He never goes anywhere except with a bounce. Out to do his business outside--there's the bounce. In from outside, heading for friend wife's chair, a bounce process along the carpet for ten yards or so is the regular. Sometimes a bounce process over to his dish. Yep, it is bounce everywhere.

Now you have to realize, he's an "old man." Going on fifteen--it's like he's two going on fifteen.

And you can believe me or not on this one, but it seems to me he never once bothered to bounce at all, until one of his keepers (at a certain kennel) offered her professional opinion. "Both of those dog's need to be put down." (That was Bije and Bijou.) Now I have not heard a word about Bije except he had a stroke and has recovered, and that once up on a chair he's too blind to jump down.

But Bouncy, er, Bijou has unfailingly extended his life by unexpected agility. He may have been bounsing (Love that spelling, don't you?) all of his natural life, but I expect my memory is somehwat selective. I like it this way. He's still a happy dog. And you can guess whether I am happy or not :) :) :)!!!!!
